I will take a winner and a proven one at that over anyone else on that list. Wilson and Murray have the talent but so did Mallett... Murray still ain't beat nobody and threw it to the wrong guys way to much to play for me.
Intangibles, leadership, big game experience, is what I will Roll with y'all argue over the guy with the best arm..

Picking qbs from best to worst isn't how I look at it.I think who is the guy that best fits our offense.I'm sure other team fans feel this way as well.I wouldn't say Wilson is the BEST SEC qb,because I don't know that for a fact, but I wouldn't trade that tough sucker for anyone else in the league ,or country, for that matter.
We actually have a fine crop of qbs in the league now, should be a fun year.

Franklin is a baller, but SEC defenses > Big 12 defenses... Makes me nervous all day.

****HOMER ALERT*****
How was I being a homer? I said your guy and Wilson had probably more talent than any other qb in the league..
First off I don't like teams that put everything on their qb it's dumb as shit Colt McCoy I want a guy who can make plays lead my team a winner not the guy who threw 14 INT trying to make a play.

Russell has his moments. Look at his work against Bama and SC. He did about as well as any other QB except Wilson, not really any better, but as well. He can be solid.

Your QB not having impressive stats has nothing to do with you winning. Your offense didn't win you any games. Neither did McCarron.

HNB I personally just believe a game manager talented of course but a guy who can just win and not lose the game for you will get you more in our league or all of college football for that matter.
The defenses and the defensive coaches are so talented well coached and well schemed you couldn't keep Joe Montana upright long enough to be effective if our leagues defenses know you have all your eggs in that basket.
Those guys are talented and will more than likely make great NFL players but the last three years NC qb's have been first year starters.

We're talking about the best quarterbacks in this thread. Not the best stiffs that you can put under center and not ask to do anything.
Any Alabama fan who says they wouldn't take Murray or Wilson over McCarron is FOS.

Well since you brought up stats I wasn't even looking at that but I'll play along. Probably the most important stat by any QB is Comp. PCT... and Avg. yards a game right?
Now go compare your boy with McCarron I will take a 67% comp. avg. all day.

I just want to get you to come right out and say what you're insinuating - that McCarron is better than Murray or Wilson.

Well call me FOS then...
continue on with your argument of which qb can throw it 75yrds. and have the best back shoulder pass.
Wilson is the most talented I was simply pointing out you arguing for a guy with 14 int and no telling how many fumbles.

For a first year starter and for what he's ASKED TO DO the stats speak for themselves you brought'em up I didn't
