Commodore Notes<br/>The Commodores picked up their first win of the season with an 11-4 win over Oakland Wednesday night... Mike Yastrzmeksi's three-run homer in the third inning capped a five-run rally... VU rallied for four more runs in the fifth, including RBI-doubles from Chris Harvey and Riley Reynolds... Drew VerHagen picked up the win with three solid innings in his first start as a Commodore, striking out three and allowing one run on three hits... Oregon rallied by Vanderbilt in Friday night's series opener for a 4-2 win... The Dores took an early two-run lead before the Ducks scored one run in four straight innings to pick up the victory... VU starter Kevin Ziomek fanned six in 4.2 innings of a no decision... Brian Miller was pinned with the loss giving up two runs on two hits over 2.1 innings of relief... Oregon won Saturday's game 7-2 with six of the Ducks' seven runs reaching base via walk or hit by pitch... Tony Kemp led the Dores with two runs scored... Sam Selman took the loss allowing four runs, three earned, on one hit over 3.2 innings... Vanderbilt's ninth inning rally fell one run short in Sunday's 7-6 loss... The Commodores had the tying run on third base before Kemp struck out to end the game... Will Clinard was pegged with the loss allowing four runs on five hits and three walks over 3.2 innings...
