HSTV Announces 2012 Baseball Season Coverage Plans

2012 MSU Baseball ScheduleSTARKVILLE, Miss. - Bulldog Baseball and HailStateTV will form another impressive combination in 2012, as the MSU premium streaming service plans to broadcast all 56 MSU regular-season baseball games live via audio streaming, while 30 of State's 37 home affairs are currently scheduled to be offered via live video streaming on HSTV (schedules subject to change).

Head coach John Cohen's Diamond Dog squad opens the '12 home campaign with a 17-game homestand at Dudy Noble Field/Polk-DeMent Stadium, beginning this weekend, Feb. 17-19, with a three-game series against Pac-12 foe Washington State.

HailStateTV is also proud to announce that it has plans, starting with MSU's SEC opening weekend versus Arkansas, to begin offering its baseball video streaming content in high definition (HD). In conjunction with that, the live video streams will also become available through State's official iPad app at that time. More details on those offerings will be released closer to that weekend.

In addition to game coverage, HSTV will also provide the weekly "MSU Baseball with John Cohen" television show each week as well as the DawgTalk with Coach Cohen radio show - both free of charge. Both shows begin later in the spring.

- Due to Southeastern Conference contractual television agreements, all games that are streamed on an on-demand basis cannot begin before 11:30 p.m. local time the night of the game in question.
