Already the fifth commitment for our 2013 class, and this one at the much needed DB position - Wiggins, the #10 rated CB in the nation committed to the Dawgs yesterday.

Congrats, nice pickup.  Is it just me or does the state of junior have a bigger pool of talent this year than in year's past?  I know Georgia is a great state for high school talent, but this year is unreal

The state has a very rich crop of talent this year, for sure.

No doubt, Georgia always does.  Do you think this could be the deepest class we've seen since recruiting sites starting keeping up with rankings?

GA was loaded this past year, but it's on a whole different level this year. Seems like the state has been pumping out more and more every year cause theres already people talking about the 2014 guys.

With GA and multiple other states like Tenn and South Car getting stronger + the fact we now have a team in the state of Texas, the SEC is gonna be unreal down the road.

Glad the state of Georgia is getting some heavier talent.
Means South Carolina, Auburn, and Tennessee will get even better.

Crazy to think almost half of our 2012 class came from GA. Like Spurrier pointed out though, the state  of SC has a population of around 3.5 million....the ATL. metro area has a population of around 4.5 million. We've established pretty good pipelines to FL and GA since Spurrier has been here. Add that to SC and NC and we're doing pretty good.

And just so I don't get accused of highjacking the thread here's some highlights for you Dawg fans. Looks pretty damn good. I was especially impressed with his sideline to sideline speed, but you can see why he's not a WR.

Pretty sure being 5'9" is probably the main thing keeping him from being a WR, lol.

Normally we don't recruit guys as short as him at DB, but he's so good in coverage they couldn't pass him up.

Along with his speed, it looks like he has good instincts and is quick reacting in the film.  I wish they would show film of d backs just in coverage so you can see how fluid their hips are.

Well he's going to UGA so I don't see why he would have to be tall to catch screen passes

Ace Sanders is 5'9" and he was a 4* coming out of HS. You do see quite a few drops from Wiggins though, and he only had one INT on the year. Obviously he makes up for it with other skills or he wouldn't be rated so highly though.

South Carolina has offered him today.  So I wonder how strong that commit is.  Only time will tell.

Anybody can still offer him who wants to. Vanderbilt offered him yesterday. He's solid though.
