The past 2 classes could become the foundation for some of the best Alabama teams in history.

Getting a pass rusher like Allen is huge, and something they haven't necessarily been able to pick up in the Saban era.  He's not the automatic sure thing pass rusher type that a guy like Bowers or Clowney is, but sky is the limit for his potential and Saban brings out potential as well as anyone.

And imagine in a few years when Ragland and Foster are the foundation for our LB corp.

Crazy to think this run can only get stronger.   You never know how the ball will bounce in terms of winning big...BCS titles.   But, it feels like this dynasty is just beginning.  As long as Saban sticks around and stays driven...you know. Because I feel like this is the first time that Alabama has been seen as the definite King of the college game  and recruits nationwide are playing close attention.   By this, I mean it truly has become a program that most elite players throw the distance, childhood fandom, and possible positional battles down a tier and mainly look at Bama as the program that you'd be honored to be a part of because the results simply speak for themselves.   Guys like A'shawn Robinson, Maurice Smith, and Cooper Bateman's words say as much...all Bama has a proven culture of winning and and kids want to be a part of it.   The RB haul may prove it as much as anything.

I feel like the idea that Bama picks and chooses who it wants, becomes more than cocky BS (besides in the state of Alabama), and kinda the truth in large part.

Derrick Henry - what kind of a matchup nightmare is he at RB, specifically if he chips and catches the ball out of the backfield?  I see him in the H-back/fullback role, but he could be a huge mismatch with his size and could play almost anywhere.  You could run a hurry up offense and move him around on the field to catch an advantage.

Quote

Bessent, who is originally from Jacksonville, grew up with and is friends with 5-star LB Kain Daub. They went to school together up through middle school when Bessent moved to Kingsland and still keep in touch- Bessent describes them as "close friends." I wouldn't go as far to say Bessent's pledge will have a major effect on Daub, but it certainly doesn't hurt from UA's standpoint.

Cali OG Viane Talamaivao also has Bama in his top 3.

Stoops is recruiting against Saban for 4* DE Dante Sawyer.  I doubt we have a chance in hell but Saban should show mercy and give us this one!

Saban and mercy cannot co-exist. It would be like Mack Brown and 4 and 5 star players

Chris Williams commits to Bama. One of the reporters on BOL said he's the top FS prospect on Bama's board.

Bama adds another 2015 recruit with GA DE Mekhi Brown.

Mekhi Brown (GA) Scout | Rivals | ESPN | 247 | Video(N/A) - DE

At 6'6" and 230 as a SO, he is going to be a monster coming out of HS. He benches 325, squats 390, power cleans 275,  and runs a 4.6. Add in a 3.7 GPA and Bama looks like they have another good one in the pipeline.

As a SO, he had 50 tackles, 9 sacks, 4 FFs, and 3 fumble recoveries.

Not hard to see why CNS offered an 8th grader as you see him stand next to the #1 RB in the 2014 class

CA 5 star QB Keller Chryst made it to campus last week for a visit. Keller's Dad is the QB coach for the 49ers and his uncle is ,Pitt HC, Paul Chryst. I had never seen him tied to Bama as a prospect, and I really like the Tide's chances with Cornwell, but what a great pull that would be for the staff if it ever materialized.

Also, CNS may be looking to continue his trend of offering/bringing in a top specialist in a projected area of need as J.K. Mullen was on campus, too.  Chris Sailer ranks Scott the No. 1 punter in the nation.

Credit BamaInHouston (woollyal.com Recruit-o-Rama):

Rivals' Video Interview with Roc Thomas:
*Top schools in order: Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Oregon, Ole Miss, and UGA.
*Likes Bama's offense and the balance it has.
*(Asked about the amount of backs Bama signed) Likes competition, it is something he looks forward to.
*said Auburn has to just keep recruiting him to stay up there or overtake Bama. Telling him stuff he wants to here "and not just lies".
*Best realationship with the Auburn coaching staff.
*Will take his time with his commitment, visit more schools.
*Interested in Oregon because of their fast offense and compares Oxford's to it.
*Texts with Bo Scarbroough often and tries to get him to come visit Bama
