Getting a pass rusher like Allen is huge, and something they haven't necessarily been able to pick up in the Saban era. He's not the automatic sure thing pass rusher type that a guy like Bowers or Clowney is, but sky is the limit for his potential and Saban brings out potential as well as anyone.
And imagine in a few years when Ragland and Foster are the foundation for our LB corp.
Crazy to think this run can only get stronger. You never know how the ball will bounce in terms of winning big...BCS titles. But, it feels like this dynasty is just beginning. As long as Saban sticks around and stays driven...you know. Because I feel like this is the first time that Alabama has been seen as the definite King of the college game and recruits nationwide are playing close attention. By this, I mean it truly has become a program that most elite players throw the distance, childhood fandom, and possible positional battles down a tier and mainly look at Bama as the program that you'd be honored to be a part of because the results simply speak for themselves. Guys like A'shawn Robinson, Maurice Smith, and Cooper Bateman's words say as much...all Bama has a proven culture of winning and and kids want to be a part of it. The RB haul may prove it as much as anything.
I feel like the idea that Bama picks and chooses who it wants, becomes more than cocky BS (besides in the state of Alabama), and kinda the truth in large part.
