I'm much more pleased with our road effort tonight, at least as far as the 2nd half is concerned. We let them hang around too long the first 10 minutes of the game

Final score....UK 21 - UT 10

57-44 is the final as Kentucky steamrolls Georgia for our 20th win of the season. I'm not exactly pleased w/only getting 57 pts in Athens, but a win is a win is a win to quote Coach Brooks.

BBN: You may not want to hear this, but... I think the guys are shakey. As crazy as that sounds, coming from the "big optimist," and with their flawless record so far in the SEC. I really think they are still not to their maximum potential. I love this team, I think they have the absolute most talent of all the field, but... I agree with Coach Cal. They don't have that posture that you'd expect from a team this good. Then again, that may be their strength? Nevertheless, It's a Big Blue (Low Scoring) night in Athens! Go CATS!!!

I have never seen an entry of a game like this that went an entire game including before and after and not one post from the other team.
Of all the games UK plays every year, playing at Athens is just absolutely awful. Georgia "fans" only care about football period. Until tonight, 3/4 of their seats were fans disguised as seats in their other games. If Kentucky fans had not showed up, the place would have been maybe 60% filled. Why any great high school player would want to play there...I do not know. They were talking about all the facelift improvements they have made to Steggemen...Its kind like putting a frumpy guy in a $2,000 suit, the guy is still frumpy. No matter what you do to dress up that old ag extension rodeo barn whose roof looks like the inside cover of a golf ball, it will aways be an old ag extension rodeo barn. Miller said in the post game they had trouble staying focus in the second half....I don't blame him or the team...playing in Athens is just awful...Yawn.
