Samuels, here in Mobile, Ala. to watch Senior Bowl practices coached by the Washington Redskins staff and attended by Alabama coach Nick Saban, said he is excited to take another step forward in his coaching career. He said he wants to apply lessons learned from Redskins Coach Mike Shanahan while gleaning from Saban’s knowledge.

A perennial NFL Pro Bowler is a pretty dang good "grad assistant".

One of if not the best LT to play at Alabama. Andre Smith was pretty good too though.

I've said it before, the three best offensive linemen to play football at Alabama are, in no order...

John Hannah
Dwight Stephenson
Chris Samuels

And Barrett Jones could very well cement his name to that list as the fourth.
