3 of the top 4, 5 of the top 11. This starts to sound familiar. Should be a great season. Somebody pitch it!!!

If you count Texas A&M that makes 7 of the top 11.

LSU will win the conference this year. Take it to the bank.

Hey Reb - I know LSU will be loaded. And I know they're going to a bit angry bout the whole tourney snub last year (which is reasonable, I really doubt there were 63 teams better than them). But you really got 'em as a lock? It sounds like you'd bet them and give someone else the field - a field that includes SC, UF, Vandy, Ark and some other good teams. Am I missing something, or you just got a strong feeling about a strong team?

They were really young at basically every position last year and return most of their guys. Losing Mahtook was huge, but they have a ton of talent and guys that can produce. Every school is talented, but most either are stacked at pitching or hitting...not both. Florida and LSU seem to be the most balanced across the board. SC's pitching is phenominal but they are replacing some big bats. They will still be very good too.

Florida was young two years in a row.
It's our turn.
We're gonna whip that Tiger a** in Gainesville again this year!
6-0 against 'em over the last two years and 7-2 in the last three.

I agee that SC and Vandy have a lot to replace. UGA, Ark, Ole Miss got loads of talent but a lot to prove. But I'd sorta put LSU in that category. Probably more talent and experience, but still a lot to prove. In my mind, UF is the team to beat from the talent/experience prospective.

Arkansas can't hit and until they do, I can't even make a case for them. Their pitching is fairly average too. Ole Miss has a ton of depth in the field, but a huge question mark on the mound replacing the entire rotation and several pen arms. State replaces basically every offensive production player. It just seems like at this point, everyone has question marks except for LSU and Florida. Florida doesn't have anywhere near the home field advantage that LSU, SC, Ark, OM, MSU have. So I give the tie breaker to the Tigers....plus I hate Florida baseball lol
