Lots of chatter right now that Doug Nussmeier will accept the OC job and Lance Thompson is coming back to fill Sals Job.

Excited if this is true. Washingtons offense has been very good, especially in the redzone. Thompson is a very good recruiter and we need one to replace Sal.

Excited about the Nussmeier hire, he was the candidate I liked out of the ones that were mentioned.

Not too pumped about Thompson's return...but the recruiting won't miss a beat.

What are you guys hearing?  Sounds like it is almost done, but as bad as the Knoxville media was with the DC search I don't really trust them anymore.  It is understandable that he would want to leave as he got passed over at Tennessee for someone who was doing basically the same thing.

Thompson didn't live up to the hype he recieved when he left Bama for Tennessee. He was a solid coach and I give him credit for sticking through all the changes. Maybe a return to Alabama will revive his career.

Not that great of an on-field coach, but the recruiting prowess is well known. Not much he could do at Tennessee though, he'll return to the Mobile recruiting area...where a retarded monkey could recruit for Bama at the moment. Although, we let a couple of good ones get away this year to FSU...

All of this is IF we're actually taking him back...

When Kiffin hired him his plan was to own Memphis. All the turmoil didn't help. GoVolsXtra.com and Volquest.com are both reporting he is leaving to return to Alabama. I don't mind swaping staffs with you guys. Got anyone else you want to trade?

Retarded monkey ? I thought Miles was a head coach. Oh well.
"Whenever I see those crimson jerseys and crimson helmets, I feel humbled to have played football for Alabama. Other players in the NFL talk to me about their schools and their traditions. I just smile knowing the immense love Alabama fans have for our school and its football program. I'm proud to be a part of that Crimson Tide heritage."
