Hey, if it gets in their heads and takes their focus off, he's done his job. Be bigger than it and ignore it. Cause once you acknowledge the trash talk, he knows he's in your head and will just keep talking more. Trash talk happens all the time in all sports. You just have to be mentally strong enough to ignore it. A lot of players make their careers out of talking trash because they know it will mess their opponents up. It's a part of sports. I feel he'll know from his own family experiences to not bring up anything too sensitive to the players.

Rigghhhttt!!! You think it will be something simple and benign like..."How's Miss_______ doing? She is such a grand lady!" I suspect that he doesn't intend to use the prefix Miss or the word lady at any point. I am sure he is planning to be "funny" as you say!!
