Wasn't really sure where to put this (as it is pro ball, but also Ole Miss basketball), but it is noteworthy nonetheless.
Carol Ross, as you all know, is the former Ole Miss Women's basketball HC. She is now the HC of the Los Angeles Sparks. Fwiw, she is also a native of my hometown. (Per the article: "The Oakland, Miss., native has served as a board member for both the American Cancer Society and the Coaches vs. Cancer organization, which honored her as its 2000 Coaches vs. Cancer Champion Award winner.") Just got through speaking to her on Christmas Eve about the HC change, Pete Boone, the mascot, new arena, etc. I won't divulge what she said, but it was quite insightful.
Anyway, here is the article:

Congrats to her, and I wish her all the best in her new job!
