Can Missouri really compete in the SEC? I mean, win the division?

They will compete. Winning the division? I wouldn't go that far.

I think Mizzou's biggest contribution will be in basketball. Football wise--I just can't see it.

After seeing Georgia play today I'm more optimistic.

Perhaps they will at least make some noise in the East, at least until Florida & Tennessee right their ships. Once UT and UF do rebuild (and they will) look for Mizzu to settle into the upper lower half of the division most of the time. Probably as good as 3rd every now and then but usually either 4th or 5th in the division.

SC will be a tougher challenge than UGA for yall imo

I agree. That UGA game in COMO will be a great atmosphere. You could almost call it a trap game. As far as USCe goes, Clowney and the boys look rough and tough.
Thaaaaaaat's right. Lull yourselves into believing that.
I got news for ya. You're going to eat your words after getting a look at the defense we're bringing out there to welcome you to the show.

Playing a team at home is very favorable to playing an equally talented team on the road
^^^^^^ THIS ^^^^^^
Also I think playing Georgia at home right off the bat as our SEC opener is a plus as well. It doesnt mean MIzzou wins, but I think the chances are better with Mizzou having Georgia at home as the SEC opener compared to playing at Athens later in the year.
