Other SEC teams simply do not face the same schedule as UK. Everyones Super Bowl. Every away game. It's been that way for 50 years.

There is no more knowledgeable fan base in college basketball than UK. UK basketball is arguably one of the greatest college programs of any sports program.

How else do you explain what a big deal it is when they go on the road to play a game, especially conference games. Biggest crowds, other team's best performance, etc. Couldn't be a bigger compliment to Kentucky basketball. Tell me I am wrong.

No basketball is a sport that we are at the top of the heap Nationally.
The SEC does nothing to celebrate us like the SEC celebrates Alabama, LSU, Florida football.
We don't cope...we strive for a national championship every year.
We play for a #1 seed not SEC Championships...wish we did, but why should we? Our own league that we are a charter member of could care less if we walked today.

Well...we don't play for SEC championships because they don't mean anything when we're expected to win it every year for the past 100 years, and 9 times out of 10 do.
