Wednesday December 14, 2011Tebow Wired For Sound on NFL Network Wednesday Night
By SCOTT CARTER
GatorZone.com Senior WriterGAINESVILLE, Fla. – Tim Tebow is already a legend on UF’s campus. There is a bronze statue of him outside Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. His immortal pledge titled “The Promise’’ is posted on a plaque affixed to the Heavener Football Complex.
Tebowmania is currently sweeping over the NFL and in a sense, our sports-obsessed country.
ABC News anchor Diane Sawyer even reported on Tebow’s heroic’s in Sunday’s comeback win over the Bears on her Monday night telecast.
“He is the football phenom everyone is talking about,’’ Sawyer said, “making magic with one astounding comeback after another.’’
Tebow is the hottest story in professional sports and has led the Broncos to a 7-1 record since taking over as the starting quarterback. Denver is in first place in the AFC West following a 1-4 start.
“If you believe, unbelievable things can sometimes be possible,’’ Tebow said after Sunday’s unlikely comeback.
For those who can’t get enough of Tebowmania, the NFL Network is offering up a unique angle on Wednesday night at 8, airing “NFL Replay: Chicago Bears at Denver Broncos – Tim Tebow Wired for Sound.”
Do you want to know what Tebow was saying to Bears cornerback Charles Tillman after Tillman twisted and turned to pick Tebow off on the sideline? What about what Tebow said to Broncos receiver Demaryius Thomas after he dropped what would have been a long touchdown pass in the second half? What does Tebow say in the huddle during the Broncos’ late comeback drives?
The NFL Network will offer a look and listen to Tebow during Sunday’s 13-10 win over the Bears in overtime.
The show will also feature wired sound from Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew from Jacksonville’s impressive win over the Bucs on Sunday.
“NFL Replay” is a regular feature on the NFL Network that offers an exclusive look at the previous week’s game in a condensed 90-minute format. The show includes never-before-seen camera angles and coaches’ commentary, combined with exclusive wired sound from the field, locker rooms and sidelines.
