Ok, I meant guys who maybe have a shot at playing at the next level or would start for most teams in the SEC.  Those three except for maybe Hemingway don't fit that & it's not even close.  He Kiffin'd Michigan after Lloyd Carr left....he took a annually solid team that averaged 8, 9, 10 wins and made them a laughingstock that lost to the Toledo's of the world and had a hard time beating Western Michigan.

I'll give you that on the Pac 12 but I still think he's a terrible coach with an offense but has absolutely no clue about the defensive side of the ball.  And even his offenses at Michigan weren't anything to write home about...take away Denard Robinson and they would've struggled to score 10 points a game.  The only conference his schitt has worked was the Big Least...and though the Pac 12 may not be the SEC, it sure as hell is better than the Big East was.

yeah, we pretty much agree. no way am i saying that RR will scare the SEC at Arizona or play even adequate defense.

about RR, though: i think UM didn't have the stomach to commit to giving a non-Michigan man a chance and evolving past traditional Stone Age-era big 10 offensive play calling. i applauded UM when they hired RR for changing with the times. i betcha Hoke goes back to pocket-passing statues once Shoestring graduates

Good luck gettin' anyone to take that bet cuz that's exactly what is going to happen lol

Let me get this straight. We're going to be "gifted" with a health care plan we are forced to purchase and will be fined for if we don't, written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn't understand it, passed by a Congress that hasn't read it but exempts itself from it, signed by a president who smokes, with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes, to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese and financed by a country that's broke.

What could possibly go wrong?

Guys think about it, Rich Rodriguez's offense against...

They may average 700 YPG.

Rich Rod is not a "bad" coach, he was just the worst fit imagineable for Michigan and the Big Ten style of play. He will thrive at Arizona. You guys remarking on how bad RR's defense was at UM...let me ask you....have you WATCHED the defenses in the Pac 12?????

I think he will have the Wildcats contending for the conference championship within his first 3-4 years.

I think he'll turn the system around and start knocking out 6 & 7 win seasons in no time.

well heck they are already doing better than that...7 wins last year (beat 8-5 Iowa) and 8 wins each of the two years before that (beat 9-4 USC, 8-5 Stanford, and 8-5 Oregon State in 2009, beat 9-4 Cal and 10-3 BYU in 2008)...1-2 in bowl games
