CHARLESTON, S.C. - LSU freshman point guard Anthony Hickey was named to the five-player All-Tournament team for the Charleston Classic announced on late Sunday following the conclusion of the three-day event.

The Tigers finished up 2-1, getting wins over Western Kentucky (76-57) and Georgia Tech (59-50) after falling 88-82 to eventual tournament champion Northwestern in the opening round.

Hickey in three games averaged 16 points, including 20 in the win over Georgia Tech on Sunday. Hickey averaged 32 minutes a contest, hitting 19-of-37 field goals and 6-of-14 three-point field goals. Hickey also averaged 4.3 rebounds a game, 4.0 assists per game and 2.0 steals per contest.

Also on the all-tournament team were MVP Drew Crawford and John Shurna of champion Northwestern, Herb Pope of runnerup Seton Hall, Carl James of Saint Joseph's and Hickey of LSU.

The Tigers return to the Pete Maravich Assembly Center for their first home game since Nov. 12 on Wednesday at 7 p.m. when they host South Alabama. Tickets are on sale for $10 for adults, $5 for youth (ages 3-12) at the LSU Athletics Ticket Office and online at LSUtix.net.
