Hate to hear that about Kent.  He was an outstanding player.  He was on the Buffalo teams that went to the SB about every year.  I actually had the pleasure of knowing Kent (we had several classes together) back when we went to school together at MSU.  He was a good person as well as an outstanding player.  Not sure what happened, but Kent would not have been very old.

Prayers to his family.

Kent Hull was a great man, great football player, and an excellent representative for the state of Mississippi.
He's one of the best and he will be missed.

"So take a cup, a Red Solo cup,

And fill it full of beer!

The drunkest Rebels from Ole Miss,

Tonight are gathered here!

Hey, I think we need another drink,

Hey, I think we need another drink,

Hey, I think we need another drink,

For the glory of dear Ole Miss!

For the Rebels are the best

And to hell with all the rest!

Drink ‘um down Ole Miss Rebels,

Drink ‘um down, down, down!

For the Rebels are the best

And to hell with all the rest!

Drink ‘um down Ole Miss Rebels,

Drink ‘um down!"

Sad sad sad.  My father was at State the same time Kent Hull was.  Always heard stories of how great a player he was.

I heard was a great player and a great person. If we had more players like him, we would do well ever year. Heart, tenacity combined with talent make for some awesome football. RIP, old friend. I think he would have been 51.Way too young to die.
