I don't think you're necessarily giving them too much credit, I just think you're underestimating how good Georgia and South Carolina will be. You're talking about two teams that won 10 games in the regular season last year, both had top 10 defenses and are both returning a lot of starters and could very well both be top 10 teams to start the year this Fall.
this
SC lost two games last year, with one of those losses coming on the road against a legit top 5 team. UGA lost 2 regular season games, one to a 10 win SC team and another team that lost one game.
Mizzou lost 5 games in the regular season last year. Both SC and UGA return more than the new Tigers. I don't see Mizzou being in contention for the division in Nov. If they lose to both SC and UGA(pretty likely) they'll have to beat everyone else(including Bama), and hope that SC or UGA drops 3 conference games somewhere else. I don't see SC losing 3 SEC games, and I certainly don't see UGA losing 3 SEC games.

Winning 10 games in the SEC East is akin to Bama going undefeated against the SEC West in basketball last season. I am not saying UGA and South Carolina won't be good teams but Missouri probably played a better schedule last year than both of y'all.

You really think their schedule was the difference between 10-2 and 7-5? C'mon man, I know you're into this "we're the SEC West" crap but you're really reaching now. Missouri is more on the level with Tennessee or Vanderbilt than they are with either UGA or USC.

You are probably right. I just think they will contend for the East with UGA and USC but not win it.

You've got some good points, but we had 9 starters out at one point due to injuries including 3 seniors, we had a guard playing center for the first time in his life, had our punter kicking field goals, had a first year quarterback, and had our 3rd string running back with no one to relieve him for several games, and we still strung together 8 wins with a 4 win streak and a bowl win to cap it off.... I by no means think we win the east, but you can count on us proving to you that we belong.

Now we actually have the depth and conditioning to put together entire seasons and can actually handle injuries. This year our starting QB played less than half the season(not due to injury though). We played the last 5 games with our FIFTH string RB. We had defensive players in and out all season, along with some other offensive players. I expect yall to fit in, but there will definitely be some growing pains.

Let me get this straight. We're going to be "gifted" with a health care plan we are forced to purchase and will be fined for if we don't, written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn't understand it, passed by a Congress that hasn't read it but exempts itself from it, signed by a president who smokes, with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes, to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese and financed by a country that's broke.
What could possibly go wrong?
