I wonder if it's something physical. Not that I know anything about kicking, but his leg strength seems to have increased. He's been booting the piss out of it on kickoffs this year. Stronger leg = terrible aim?

Billy Bennett wasn't anywhere near as offensive as Andy Bailey

ETA: Let's just hope Walsh had one bad game. Although he did miss that one against SC. Make that two bad games.

No doubt, man. We've got one of the best punters and kick returners in the country. And we used to have a premiere kicker. Special teams was a huge strength last season. We took several big steps back this year.

Crazy how badly we miss Belin coaching that unit. Richt will have to bring in someone to coach special teams next season.

It's just sad to see a guy with so much talent and ability implode like he has. Guy was automatic from 50 yards in and pretty damn good from 50+ for three years. Now he's atrocious.

And what really hurts is that if our special teams wasn't so poor this year, we might be one win better at this point and all alone at 1st place in the division.

And speaking of announcers, what do yall think the over/under would be for how many Gator players(past or present) Lundquist would suck off if he got the chance??

A lot of teams don't have a designated ST coach, and we haven't ever really had one either. Warren Belin coached most of our special teams last season, but he was the LB coach. You gotta at least have a guy who can coach that unit well though (in addition to his primary responsibilities), and we apparently don't have that.
