Unfortunately, as a football school, we'll always face an uphill battle in this arena. And we're probably as close to Ohio St. in terms of combined football and basketball success (especially recently) than any school in the nation, but just can't real in the big ones year in and year out.

For the people calling out Marc Maggard, you don't know what you're talking about and this is coming from a person who DOESN'T like Maggard.

In terms of UK connections, Maggard is bar-none the best out there. If you know anything about the hierarchy down at UK, you know who Marc Maggard gets his info from and it is legit... However he turns people off because of his personality which he has done with me.

Let me offer you up a quick synopsis of Marc Maggard from a paid site I'm apart of. The synopsis is provided by a guy who goes on the road and his job is breaking down and analyzing recruits. He was formerly with Rivals but is now with ESPN and he has strong UC connections but he works with Maggard often. He is the one that says Maggard has the connections but its just his personality that blows people off. If you want, I can give you the conversations on the site because we've had many posts about these guys and situations....

FWIW, he also says Matt Jones is an idiot and tries to pass off recruiting info as his own when its not.

Regardless, the guys info comes straight from UK and what THEY know about a situation.

Just my 2 cents.

To think people were concerned about this class. Just shows that it is a waste of time to worry about recruiting under Calipari at Kentucky.
