hey NYIH, have you reached the point where you wished Hilary would have got the nomination instead of BO?

So far this thread has produced 3 edited posts and an infraction, which resulted in a poster being banned. You guys need to post like adults that have common sense. If there's any more personal insults or derogatory terms posted, they will result in warnings and infractions.

Anyone remember that year when Glen Rice finished behind Michael Jordan in scoring? Well, in 1987 he finished behind Sarah Palin.

Not quite. I'm starting to wish that she was VP cause then maybe she could have helped him stand up to the GOP, but I still think Obama is better because if Hilary was president and things were this bad, she wouldn't have a prayer in getting re-elected. I think Obama can beat whatever moron currently running gets the GOP nod, I don't know if Hilary could unless things improved.
Obama was the best choice, but he's governed far too close to the center. In hindsight, I don't think Clinton would have done that. Then again, McCain would have had a much better shot against her.
tough call.

You have received an infraction at SECTalk Forums.

^More of this, please.
I'm honestly not sure why there's so much surprise about this. Glen Rice could always nail a solid 3.

She only did it cuz she heard the Founding Fathers were doing it. Peer pressure's a bitch.
Let me get this straight. We're going to be "gifted" with a health care plan we are forced to purchase and will be fined for if we don't, written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn't understand it, passed by a Congress that hasn't read it but exempts itself from it, signed by a president who smokes, with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes, to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese and financed by a country that's broke.
What could possibly go wrong?

I was being serious. An unmarried woman slept with an unmarried man. This is only an issue with people that don't approve. And nice person attack, showing your true colors again. Luckily, I'm not a woman and don't report posts like some people....

Let me attempt to explain: You sarcastically indicated/said that Conservatives are racists - which is a derogatory comment and insult - and you are acutely aware Muggz and several other posters are Conservatives. You even try to point out that it is common knowledge that Conservatives are racists by saying "we all know":
I can't quote what Muggz said because it has been deleted. However - he effectively said (equaly sarcastically) that Liberals/Dems (of which you consistently claim to support) are fa**ots. Did he cross the rules of the site by calling you out specifically insteading of using the inuendo that you use - yes. BUT - the intent was the same - you just artfully ensured you adhered to the letter of the law (while breaking the spirit of the law).
Now - I realize that Muggz' statements were more straight forward and yours were more "artistically" worded so there was a veil to hide behind (rather than straight out calling Muggz and other Conservatives racist - you used sarcasm to poke fun at the exact opposite - nice spin job - but everyone could tell what you were saying behind the sarcasm). BUT - the point to all of his posts was to call out the short-sidedness of labeling all Conservatives as racist and how it is offensive to someone that considers themselves a Conservative for all Conservatives to be labeled racist. To make his point - he sarcastically used an example of all Liberals/Dems - and hence you by association - being fa**ots. Both terms - racist and fa**ot - are heated and insulting words. You actually proved his point by being insulted/taken aback - as it showed how Conservatives on this board consistently feel insulted by many of your posts where you insinuate how hateful, racist, and bigoted we are. The whole and entire point of the exchange was that you can not say an entire group - of individually minded people that share a mostly common belief in how the GOVERNMENT should be run - is racist or fa**ots. That was it - the entire point - a good and overdue-to-be-made point actually.

As we all know, Conservatives love minorities and heavily approve and encourage interracial relationships.

You could call me a lot of things that I'm clearly not and they would be an insult. And because you're willing to use a hateful, insulting, bigoted word like that one, you prove me right about everything and show what kind of "person" you are.
Congrats on being boringly predictable
