Manchester Orchestra was what I was going to suggest. Brand New is good. There is good music out there, you just have to dig under the superficial covering of Lady Gaga and Beyonce.

Live Widespread Panic, if you like older country I would recommend the extended edition of Waylon Live. As far as new hard rock is concerned Black Country Communion sounds great to me.
