NEW ORLEANS - LSU football All-American Patrick Peterson and track and field national champion Kimberlyn Duncan were honored Thursday by both the Allstate Sugar Bowl and the Greater New Orleans Sports Hall of Fame as this year's recipients of the Corbett Award presented annually to the top male and female amateur athletes in the state of Louisiana.
