We didnt' name him the QB Killa for nothin, Chalk.  They're relying on a 5'8" guy that has never started an SEC game, who also has a speech impediment, to lead them to the promised land.

At least Mackey and Danny Nutt can probably converse with one another without any problems.

6' even. Also Stanley showed to be completely incompetent this spring and was passed over for people who were playing much better. That's how competition works, and Stanley has never been able to handle pressure.

So you're relying on st-st-st-st-stutterin Steve to take command in the huddle under pressure?

Didn't Stanley win the starting job last season, before he was railroaded by the QB Killa in favor of masoli?

Nice try, but I believe his stats would say that he's understood just fine.

It wasn't a try, Ryan Mallett actually does have a speech impediment, no joke.

Also, if you in fact believe that having a speech impediment means absolutely nothing to how good a QB is or will be (citing Ryan Malletts stats) why would you bring that up?

You're really grasping at straws here.  Straws that don't exist, btw.

Nope.

Just pointing out that pointing out useless information is, in fact, pointless. Don't go trying to diss some QB you have never seen play because he has a speech impediment when your most recent QB had a speech impediment and as you say " I believe his stats would say that he's understood just fine".

I never liked Stanley, from the first practice I saw him in to some of the stupid errors in the jacksonville state game. He plain cannot handle pressure, period. Masoli was the better option last season simply because our O-line was so terrible. 90% of the plays masoli made were when he had people in his face the whole time and had to run for his life. His mobility was the only thing that helped us win any games at all. With Stanley at the helm we may not have won a single game, because he could not handle being behind a weak O-line.

Speech Impediment Hampering Ole Miss QB Mackey | College Football News, Opinion and Analysis | Chuck Oliver.Net

The “it” he’s referring to is this: a confounding, confusing and utterly  critical speech impediment. Mackey, who is as pleasant and smooth in a  conversation as can be, can suddenly lock up in the huddle, when he’s  needing to call a play, or at the line of scrimmage, when the situation  calls for an audible.

Big difference in locking up and Mallett not being well spoken.

May the bridges I burn light the way.

I'm not joking. Ryan Mallett has an actual Speech impediment. Not talking about his style or anything. I'm talking about his medical problem.

Secondly, its not as much as Jacobp making a remark seeing as that it is completely unfounded, its more of, why are you making fun of a guy because of his speech impediment?
