Sin City: A Dame To Kill For

I don't understand why the critics are mauling this movie. Being a big fan of the first one, this one captured the same feel and magic as the original. An all-star cast didn't hurt either.

8.5

Went to see two movies over the holiday weekend (my wife picked one and I picked the other):

When the Game Stands Tall (the one I picked):  True story about the longest winning streak in football.  Pretty good movie, although not as good as Remember the Titans, which it was compared to in the previews.  I'd give it an 8.5.

The Hundred Foot Journey (the one my wife picked):  My expectations were very low going into the movie.  This didn't look like my type of movie.  However, I was pleasantly surprised.  It wasn't bad.  I'd give it a 7.

Oculus - 5  I'll hand it to originality but too many questions. I thought of about a hundred ways to destroy this stupid mirror an hour after the movie was over.

7.4 - I thought it was very creative and original. It did however remind me of the movie 1408 with John Cusack.

Oculus was alright, I really liked seeing Karen Gillian in a movie mostly though.

My girlfriend picked up I Frankenstein from the librart. Looked absolutely horrible 5 minutes in so that's all I got.

Did watch Sinister on Showtime the other night. 7/10. Scarier towards the beginning, ending was predictable.

The Wolf of Wallstreet - 8.5 great film, too long would be my only gripe. McConaughey's cameo was epic. I laughed my ass off at so much in this movie.
