Why in the HELL can we NEVER land anyone from Valdosta?!
It's not even overwhelmingly Dawg Country.

Funny thing is, that's what we were complaining about as little as two years ago. Getting Malcolm Mitchell and Jay Rome last year seemed to break a streak of bad luck with getting kids from Valdosta. Extremely tough battles with FSU for every recruit from Valdosta.

FSU has always done better in south GA than both UGA and UF. It's been better since Richt came on board with his recruiting pipeline down there, but hopefully the trend will stop. I'd rather keep UF out of the mix though since we hardly ever have to play any of the FSU recruits we lose.

How do you guys see us using Faton Bauta? Big QB out of Florida...some compare to Tebow, but I think that's more because of his size and home state. Rumors that he could play tight end or linebacker.
