Not really sure what he did. Meyer says he violated team rules.
He also doesn't say "for now" after "done." Uh oh.....

But for real. Im not sure I understand Meyers punishments. Cam Newton whom you could obviously tell was going to be a star gets kick off for stealing a laptop. Then Rainy does the creepy movie thing with the text message and gets a thump on the wrist.

No doubt. Rooming with J. Masoli and raiding the locker room lost and found.

Let's clear this up for the thousandth time. Cam Newton was never kicked off of the Florida Gators football team. He was never dismissed from the team at all. Also he didn't steal it himself, or so he claims. He purchased stolen property. At any rate, he left of his own accord because Tebow was going to return for his last season and Newton wanted to play.

Just messing with you. I would put a funny icon by it to show it was in jest but all these ones suck.

No one really knows for sure...you're giving Newton's account of what happened...and it's UF's policy not to comment on former players. Newton was "dismissed" from the team...it wasn't necessary permanent...it was more of a "pending further investigation" dismissal. The story I heard...Cam's dad got pissed because he was behind Brantley after the Spring...he basically wanted Meyer to assure him that Cam would be given the "reins" once Tebow left and Meyer wouldn't do it...so, Cam's dad made him transfer. Cam's said himself that he didn't want to leave UF. The "Cam left because of Tebow coming back" argument don't hold water because, either way, he was sitting the bench for a year.

Yes it does. He went to JUCO and dominated, improving his skills rather than sit behind Tebow doing nothing.

Well, tell that to Cam because he's the one who said it not me. Honestly you guys have tried to spin this story for 2 years now and would have gotten away with it had he not gotten recruited so heavily out of JUCO and people actually took the time to look it up themselves. Hell we posted the truth about Cam Newton and his time at Florida long before ESPN ever got hold of it while most of the college football world was convinced he'd been booted from Gainesville.
Not to mention, Newton fell behind Brantley because of injury, but nice try. Again, we don't have to rehash everything again because it's all been said a thousand times.
I won't dispute the fact that Cecil had a lot to say about what happened with Cam and Florida. Bottom line is, whatever reason he left, it had nothing to do with the laptop incident.

Considering Cam himself said his heart was at UF...no, it doesn't hold water.
