Small bag of Tom's peanuts. I can still the old store me and my pop stopped on the way to the lake for a day of fishin'. Great thread Muggz.

A Pepsi and one some salty peanuts definitely take me back to the younger days.

Had a grape soda (grape goodness as I call them) the other day Aza.  Makes me think of the beach because we'd always have a cooler full of grape and orange sodas.

I also grew up putting a bag of Tom's or Lance salted peanuts in my Coke or Dr. Pepper. Was nothing like a bag of peanuts in a bottle of Coke..........and it has to be a GLASS bottle. It's ok in a plastic bottle but it ain't the same. Youngins now don't know what they're missing. Kinda like cornbread in milk.

Yep, used to love me some peanuts and coke. The next best thing was a payday and a coke. However, I converted to diet coke about 10 years ago and I just can't bring myself to try diet coke and peanuts...it just doesn't seem right.

Useless movie trivia tidbit....Dolly Parton can be seen dropping peanuts into a glass bottle of Coke in a beauty parlor scene from Steel Magnolias.

Haven't heard anyone mention "Leonard's Losers" in forever - loved that!  Makes me wanna check to see if they have any of the old soundbites online

We used to put peanuts in Dr. Pepper - somehow Grapico sounds icky - I'll have to trust you on that one ;)
