Its making a me a little uncomfortable having so many fans of other schools living vicariously through SC. I know we all live vicariously through our teams to a certain extent, but as SC fans we're not used to having people support us so much in a win over a big time program. Or penciling us in for a trip to ATL. I know this team seems different, but we are SC...so lets take this thing one week at a time.

I am pretty sure Razor ahs built and pen and started raising roosters. Of course he will have to get Spurrier's balls out of his mouth first.

That's great haha!

And yes I feel the same way about Auburn. This game against Arkansas makes me really nervous. If we get that out of the way I feel good about having a chance to have an iron bowl that decides the west.

Go back through the threads.  I've been predicting SC to win the east before the season started.  I stand by that.  I think the east winner goes in with 2 conference losses.  I had been saying SC would lose to Arkansas but I'm doubting that anymore.  Basically all SC has to do is defeat the Gators and they will get to the SECCG.  They have already played UGA, Auburn, and Bama.  It looks like UT and Vandy are gimmies.  Arkansas and UK are the wildcards.  But, beat Florida and you could still lose one of those last two and win the east.  This seems to be Spurriers year.

At this point South Carolina would have to have a complete meltdown not to make it to ATL this year.

Yeah, I was predicting 10-2 before the season and I still stand by that. I just hope that 2nd lose doesnt come against UF...though I do think the Gators lose another conference game.

I like your chances. Just keep people off of Garcia.

I'm just praying for the top 6 teams to take losses now. Go knows we don't need boise or tcu playing in the national title. And I'd like to see an SEC team take the crown again, of course.

Yea, I am cautiously optimistic...but this Kentucky game scares the crap out of me.  I'm really hoping we just take care of business on the road the next two weeks.  If so, that game @ Florida (which I am attending) will be epic.  I don't like all this "ATL shoe-in" talk just yet.  We've proven we aren't great on the road.  If in the next two weeks this team can prove to me that they can take care of business against opponents that we should beat, then I'll ride shotgun on the bandwagon.
I'll just regress, because I feel I've made myself perfectly redundant.

Nebraska will crush Texas - lock of the week.  Texas will be lucky as hell to get within 14 points of Nebraska.  If it was at Texas, I'd say MAYBE but it's a home game and it sure looks as if Nebraska is giving each Big 12 team a going-away present in the form of an ass kicking on their way out the door to greener pastures.  They grooved all over Kansas State this weekend and game was well in hand by the end of the 1st half....when'd Bo Pelini take his starters out?  He didn't.  They're on a mission to embarrass these teams and they'll pour it on in Lincoln, count on it.  Texas won't be able to get out of there fast enough.  Nebraska's for real, like it or not.

I do agree with you on Ohio State though....playing at Wisconsin is never easy and the badgers have found a playmaker in that young RB...name escapes me and it's not Clay.

Let me get this straight. We're going to be "gifted" with a health care plan we are forced to purchase and will be fined for if we don't, written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn't understand it, passed by a Congress that hasn't read it but exempts itself from it, signed by a president who smokes, with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes, to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese and financed by a country that's broke.

What could possibly go wrong?

Which being who we are isn't all that far out of the realm of possibility.

Long ago, I suggested that the SEC Championship Game might feature LSU / South Carolina.  Could happen.
