This week a dear friend of mine, Mark Forester, was killed in Afghanistan.  Mark was a graduate of UA and one of the biggest Bama fans I have ever met.  He was a tremendous soldier and just all-around great human being.  The world is a better place for Mark having been here.

Hopefully, as we are enjoying our day of watching football and socializing with friends, we can take time to remember Mark and all of the servicemen and women that have given their lives so that we can be free.

Prayers and thanks to his family and friends from slb and I... the sacrifice is truly immeasurable.

I know the Forester family appreciates your thoughts and prayers.  Below, I included a link to a tribute that has been created for Mark by one our mutual friends.

Thanks again!
