Bryan Woodall pitched for Auburn from 2006-08 and was the 21st pick of the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2008. His first two years at Auburn he was prominently used as a midweek starter before becoming the closer in 2008. During the 2008 season he had a team leading and career best 11 saves on the year. That ranks fifth all time in Auburn history for a season and eighth all time for a career. Bryan's hometown is in nearby Phoenix City, Ala. He has spent his entire career in the Diamondbacks organization and spent the first part of the 2010 season with the Class-A advanced affiliate, the Visalia Rawhides. During his time there he was selected as a CAL league Mid-Season All-Star. Bryan is now currently a member of the nearby Double-A affiliate Mobile BayBears.
