A pregame ceremony will be held at Carolina Stadium before Saturday's game to honor the 1981 team that reached the College World Series. Recently it was learned that the `81 squad never received rings for making it to Omaha, Neb. Almost 30 years later, the 1981 team will receive those rings. Saturday's game between South Carolina and Alabama is scheduled to start 1 p.m. and will be televised live on CSS-TV.
