Ok... so assessing where we are at now.  Paul Jones said he think we will sign 25.

We currently have 23 committed.  This list included Chris Jones, Ulric Jones and Scott Austin.

It has been hinted at very strongly that Ulric Jones will be placed at JUCO... not SIGN and placed... just placed.  There's also the uncertainty still surrounding Scott Austin and a possible greyshirt or dropping.  Assuming Ulric is placed, and Scott leaves, that leaves us with 21 right now.

Without taking into play any more decommitments, I still think we take 3.... maybe 4 folks if indeed S. Austin doesn't hang around.

The staffs seems to want to get Mix back on board, so that would take 1 spot.  We obviously then have 2 or 3 spots left.  Obviously, Tony Conner and Mackenzie Alexander have spots reserved until the end (regardless of our chances with them).

So, keeping in mind that we can probably take anywhere from 2-4 more commitments depending on greyshirts or JUCO placements, the following are still on our board:

Mackenzie Alexander
Antonio Conner
Jahmere Irvin-Sills
Mackenro Alexander
Fred Ross
Deon Mix

I'm thinking we take 3 more.  I won't speculate on who or the different scenarios.

And it looks like I was right.... being reported that Scott Austin committed to ULaLa. Guessing he didn't want to take our greyshirt offer. Hope we can land Ross. I thought all along that De-Runnya Wilson was the plan that caused Austin to want to leave. Here's to hoping Ross can replace Corey Smith on the list.
