So have the Alexander twins actually committed? Quick search reveals that one is a 5 star on 247. I know nothing about recruiting, as you all know, I just google the latest names that are posted in here and go by their offer sheets.

If true, looks like some pretty good pickups for our secondary. We need Tony Conner, Dobbs, and a WR to close out.
We are M-State.

Not "official" until they have their meetings with Mullen today -- and still possible they keep it quiet for a little while...

I imagine that Tom Luginbill wants to get a camera in front of MacKensie's face for his "announcement" -- since he's the #4 overall player in the country as far as ESPN is concerned...

ESPN recruiting rankings are a complete joke, why 247 even bothers putting them in their composite is beyond me. Still, from what I have read and heard about the Alexander bros, one is for sure top tier talent and the other isn't too far away from him.

We HAVE to keep Cord

You would think being able to play college football and a potential NFL career would be better than 4 years of minor league baseball. Who knows, maybe his family really needs that signing bonus. Maybe he really loves baseball.

I know he looks like he would be a great QB in Merlin's system. I hope we don't get a 2nd team all-WHIFF qb

From what I understand, most of those big time HS MLB prospects are having money for college written into their contracts.  Best of both worlds, a scholarship and a paying job with the potential for big money all rolled into one....

Heres the deal gang.

Our staff has a pledge from the alexanders to announce for MSU on signing day.  They both want to do a hat ceremony on ESPN NSD.

They are not officially committed and will take another visit or two.  Things could of course change as the next weeks are always volatile.

If we take a commitment from sills, it's a bad sign and most likely means something changed with Makensie Alexander.

We will just try to make the other teams sweat with Connor, it's 6 months too late to swing IMFHO.

We will know about Dobbs in the next day or two since he just visited ASU.

We won't sign any scrubs, we'll stop at 25 unless we get an extra big fish

I disagree. We'd take Sills and Alexander.

Nope.  If so we wouldn't be making him wait.  Sills spot is for the brother makenro

Connor and that DL have a spot either way

You're right too, but it looks like we might have another gray shirt according to Paul Jones. That would open a spot for Sills.

Ulric Jones might just get placed, not sign and placed. Supposedly Scott Austin was asked to greyshirt. And there might be another but I don't know who it'd be. Maybe one of the ACL risks.
