D.J. Durkin and Stan Drayton were named to the University of Florida football staff on Tuesday. Durkin will work with the Gators' linebackers, while Drayton will work with UF's running backs. Specific responsibilities will be determined once the entire staff is finalized.

I'm so out of the loop right now. I didn't even realize we lost Kenny Carter. When I googled it I saw that we're losing both Carter and Bedford to Louisville! What the hell is going on?! Why are we losing assistants to a smaller program? Is Coach Strong going to increase their responsibilities?

As for these hires, I don't know too much about Durkin, but I know he'll be a downgrade from Charlie. Also, based on Drayton's first tenure at UF, he may be a downgrade from Carter. I hope the reported bad blood between Drayton and Meyer is over with, or didn't even exist at all in the first place.
