Go read the thread in question and tell me if I'm off base.
As for me being a liberal, man you have me pegged.  I volunteered for local Republican offices every election year from when I was 14 to 22, clerked for Republican State Representative John Boozman, have run campaigns for Republicans running for state offices, and had been approached by the state party to consider running as a Republican for the state legislature before I decided against it, got a new job and moved to LA.  Four years ago, I decided no longer to be affiliated with the Republican Party.  Why?  They're too damn liberal fiscally, and way too self-righteous socially.
All I'm saying is this:  If you're going to say you're "fighting" against the current administration, Congress, and the liberal agenda do it with facts, not completely bogus email chain letters.

but yeah, I'm a typical liberal nutcase.  :peace:

Last weekend, Speaker Nancy Pelosi passed what the Wall Street Journal calls “the worst bill ever.”  And now, Senate Majority  Leader Harry Reid announced that he wants to begin Senate action on President Obama’s health care plan next week.

The Pelosi bill includes massive job-killing tax increases, a government-run health care plan, billions in Medicare cuts, and health-care rationing

The non-partisan Congressional Budget Office has also confirmed that provisions in their bill will actually make health  insurance more expensive. During a recession and historic unemployment, the last thing we should do is raise costs on families.

I was disappointed that Speaker Nancy Pelosi  passed her 1,990-page bill to allow the government takeover of health care bill over the concerns of Americans across the country and in every SEC state from citizens who loudly voiced their strong and legitimate concerns during the  August recess.  What is this, government by decree when it should be government by representation?

The whole things smells and is dragging us kicking and screaming down the road to socialism which I don't think any of us want.  Less government is better than more government.  Private enterprise does succeed where government control (socialism) is a pathetic failure.
