At this point in his administration, are you comfortable or uncomfortable with President Obama's leadership?

Still undecided.. the last two weren't so great either.. So for the next few months at least, I gotta figure he's got some plan to turn it around.

Uncomfortable is putting it mildly.

With socialized medicine?
Not for me.
With cap & trade?
Not for me.
With amnesty for illegals?
Not for me.
With billions of pork barrel spending to bribe congress members?
Not for me.
Appointments of "Czars" with un-American and unpatriotic tendencies?
Not for me.

GeauxTo.. I too am a Republican.. but I'm doing what I can to tolerate an administration that I rarely, if ever agree with. I don't need to know what he is doing, I'm well aware.

uncomfortable...i dont trust ANY politician...regardless of party affiliation...there all snakes. also, his relentless push on the healthcare overhaul is troublesome and for some reason, he feels mandated to do the seemingly minority supported overhaul.

I apologize for being overbearing on this, but it's the only way I know to fight back at the socialist SOB. Political Correctness is and has been his ally. We need to stop that.

My way of life hasn't changed at all during his presidency, all except for my phone being over-ridden with all kinds of Jokes and what not.

Well, I'm undecided, but as C22 said, the last 2 weren't so great either. It's like going into a marriage with a woman who has a bad 14 year old kid that she wants you to turn into a choir boy in the first 100 days of the marriage. Ain't gonna happen folks...

He inherited a tough job with the problems already there. I don't think it would have been easy for anyone. While I don't agree with everything he is doing, I pray that as our president he will find the solutions.
MARCUS, GET WELL SOON!

Trying to fight back is all fine and dandy, but it'd better serve your cause to think before posting b/s like the thread you started about Obama's "comments" on veteran healthcare.

Pearls of wisdom from a typical liberal nutcase.

I'm leaning heavily toward uncomfortable but there are some good things going on that don't make the headlines too. So I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt till he reaches at least halfway through his first term. He pretty much ran for a job as the boy at the dike trying to stop leaks. Problem is he's trying to stem the leaks that were caused by spending far too much money by spending far too much money.
Now, if the question would have been our political leadership in general, I'm uncomfortable as hell. With the exception of a few good men/women, they're all on the take in one form or another. Until they get the special/corporate interest out of politics, they're going to continue doing what they've been doing till the dam bursts.

Let me get this straight. We're going to be "gifted" with a health care plan we are forced to purchase and will be fined for if we don't, written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn't understand it, passed by a Congress that hasn't read it but exempts itself from it, signed by a president who smokes, with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes, to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese and financed by a country that's broke.
What could possibly go wrong?
