Defense is the first good thing that you think about, when you think of MSU. This is decades of traditions for MSU.Our defense is not up to par. This "D" was suppose to be better than the year before. (paper wise) It seems that there is something going wrong. Could it be, lack of preparation or poor play calling that's causing the defense to look like offense. If this continues, Dan may have to make some decisions at the end of the year. We have the talent, but not the right play call. It all starts with defense.:brick:

yeah the defense played well enough to win sat but they are still awful...i think its a combination of playcalling, lack of adjustments and talent...if we keep going the way we are going, i doubt torbush is here next year cause we can see mullen doesnt handle losing very well...

Yeah amazing because we are so used to a stout defense, Torbush has to get a grip, I can see in Mullen's face he is not happy with it.. One time watching on TV it looked like they were screaiming at each other, I would not think I would want to get into a shouting match wiht Mullen ! LOL

no doubt saddawg but the lack of adjustments and poor defensive playcalling has been obvious pretty often...

We may not have huge talent in the secondary, but our front seven is more than talented enough to be getting more pressure and stuffing the run better. Torbush had Houston gashing for us yards up the middle. Not okay. If you really think we have the defense to be consistently giving up 400 yards or more, I disagree.

yeah....youll see all kinds of torbush bashing if u dig deep enough on this site.....see the auburn game thread....it gets pretty brutal. the houston game played just as i thought it would. our sedondary is garbage...and thats giving them some credit. they suck. houson was pretty much a 7 on 7 drill, but without a defense....so essentially a throw and catch warmup. keenum sliced and diced our d to shreads. the only time we stopped them is when keenum overthrew, reciers dropped, or they ran it. mullens mental toughness will be tested, cause scheming with this team will add about 50 years to your life.
welcome aboard
