I am thinking about getting a converter box and rabbit ear antennae to get ABC Columbus approx 30 miles away. Anybody got any suggestions on this?

Suggestions? I thought I had this covered. Why can I not get local channels? I tried to change my address to get the programming that I needed. He said that that was against the rules. Dang it man. I wanted to watch VT take their beatdown from my house!!!!!!!

This is too easy...I wish I was a jewish comic.

That sucks man.....if you can't get it going....I wouldn't chance it.....either go to a friend's house and watch it or go to a bar or sports grill etc....

Show class, have pride and display character. If you do, winning takes care of itself.

yea, I can watch things on the internet, but so can everyone else. I was talking in terms of tv.

ESPN America is on TV in Europe. All depends on which country you're in and if you have satellite or cable.

I have an indoor powered antennae sitting on the roof and cables run through my 2 story house.  I'm getting abc now but its a little blotchy every few seconds.  I'll try to watch the UGA game and see how it does.

I was told cable wasnt available in my subdivision yet.  Nobody else has cable, i would have gotten charter.

When i put my addy in that antannae locator deal it showed no stations were available.  Nobody stocks that ss-2000 ant.

I just moved to Opelika, and all my friends here will be tuning to espnu at 6pm.  All my buds are in the ham & Atl

I thought that if you didn't get the local channels with DTV you could use the ones in the 380s or whatever for ABC/Fox etc. Or maybe you have to pay for them?

If not, the internet is your friend or go to a bar

Could be worse if all you could get would be Stars and Stripes!! I remember being stationed in Turkey in 1976 and all we had was a 5 watt radio station and no TV whatsoever!! (Unless you count Turkish TV, yeah right!)
