I was talking to a buddy of mine (Not for Bama fans)

who became good friends while he was at LSU. A couple of weeks ago they hung out and started talking football. My buddy, being an LSU fan, asked what he thought about us this year. He said "Last year LSU's defense was bad, real bad. Everyone should've put up 100 points on them. Athleticism alone saved them. But, LSU stole the ball when they got Chavis. I dont know how they got him but they did and he's one of the best."
When he told me this I was relieved about Chavis. This source is very reliable. What do yall think about this statement? It just gets me more pumped for the upcoming season.

Chavis was a great pickup for LSU there is no doubt, but they have much more to overcome than their poor defensive performance. You guys have the talent on both sides of the ball so there shouldn't be a problem getting things together.

Just so long as your QBs don't start giving the ball away things shouldn't be too bad.

I think the Tiger faithful will be calling for Chavis head once the Gators leave the Bayou.

So a "reliable source" told you that you got a good defensive coordinator. That's some hard core intel right there.

I have inside information from a reliable contact in the Arkansas athletic department who told me, on condition of anonymity, that the Razorbacks will continue to wear red this year.

I've heard of that type of "reliable source" before. I think I know a few of them myself.

So someone told you Chavis was a good pickup? Strong source. Does he have any other info? Area 51? 2012? Kennedy assassination?
