I hope this isn't true.

This is the major drawback of running quarterbacks. It's really hard to keep them healthy. Bo and Dak both had problems last season.

Meh, Williams could win us UAB, but If I had to guess, Dak will play until at least halftime. In fact, Bonner came out with an article earlier in the C-L saying that Mullen has already planned to play Dak.

IMO. Bad call by Mullen. You don't play dak against uab unless he's 100%. Kid is good but seems fragile

But why play him if he's recovering from an injury and isn't needed?

We don't really know how "injured" he is exactly. If Mullen thought it was impossible for him to play for unwise, I am sure he wouldn't d it. He held Dak out of both Bama and Arkansas last season, and he knew we needed at least Arkansas to get to a bowl.

If Dan would hold him out of those two games due to injury, he wouldn't flinch at UAB. And from all accounts, Dan says there isn't a problem, and Dak will play. But Dan is funny about stuff like this. So, we'll see. But if I had to bet, I would bet we see Dak for at least the first half.

This seems to be the knock on Dak and considering our base offense, I really, really hope isn't true.

Jeebus, talk about a moron the Merlin is.

Why play Dakota and risk injury against UAB when LSU looms large in the coming weeks?

Even if Dak were 100%, which we don't know incontestably that he isn't, he wouldn't have played much beyond the half anyway. Actually, I seriously, seriously doubt that Dan will let Dak play if something really is wrong.
