I learned Bama will be aight nothing I really didn't expect. We've got some cb that aren't experienced enough to cover man coverage but the defense was decent for a first game. They looked a little lost but with DePreist back that should help plus these hunh teams have the first couple series planned for months.

Sims looked very improved if the game slows down and it will he'll be fine. He looked better under pressure than any of the last qbs we've had I can remember. He dodged a few sacks I know they would have taken but he kept his eyes down field and that's huge most don't do that especially starting a first game. Our OL is nasty little more experience and they'll be leaning on some teams late in games.

I think I predicted something like 35-20 so it wasn't much I didn't expect.
"I didn't come to Alabama to win 10 games a year and be a contender. I came here to win championships, Conference Championships, and National Championships. I love it here because that's not just what I want, but what this fan base expects." -Alabama Head Football Coach Nick Saban

Tennessee's defense looked much better/faster than I thought. That back seven, in particular, flew to the ball. Very athletic group of LBs.

ESPN said we weren't impressive because we got "manhandled" by Arkansas with no context whatsoever.

After watching the film, almost 80% of Arkansas' rushing yards came on draws, traps and delays. They ran very little true power and when they did we did very well against it.

Once we went to half to adjust to the scheme they were showing us, we dominated. 3 rushing yards in the second half for Arky.
If they said that, they're stupid.
Although I still can't figure out why the hell they panicked so badly after the int and starting throwing every down. Play calling in 2nd half was horrific

I'm not too concerned over Bama's QB situation just yet, I understand staying with one in a close game. It was frustrating to see the defense fold but this was a team who had months to prepare and hit HUNH weaknesses. I can only hope they get better as the weeks go on, many teams won't match up well vs the defense at all.

I learned that saying "Arkanlawls" is a bannable offense, but telling someone they rape little boys isn't.

Also, I learned that Auburn is still awesome and will dominate the west this year.

Not one trolling comment about Georgia sucking....leaving satisfied.

I will comment on the games i saw.

USCe obviously struggled but will be much better when we come to town. They've got some playmaker receivers even though they lack size
Georgia i wont go into the positives, Little worried about Mason, didnt see ANY deep throws farther than 10 yards. Our big time receivers being out hurts. I hope Bobo was holding Mason back but who knows.
Texas AM found a defense, and a QB. Nuff said

Busy weekend. Didn't watch the rest.

Oh yea and Posted Image you Clemson

I wondered this too.
It's almost like the coaches put so much trust into a single game plan that when Auburn adjusted to it, they started panicking and had no clue what to do.
The true MVP of Auburn's win was Ark's offensive coordinator.

I think we only had 5 or 6 rushing attempts in the second half.  Chaney needs to quit abandoning the run.  He did it several times last year too.

May the bridges I burn light the way.
