They may really give us a run for our money. If the freshmen come out flat we are Posted Imageed. However, for some reason I am not worried, and I don't know why. I usually stress the first game of the year. Even when we were good, I still got anxious.

Probably should be anxious after all the wildcard stuff we saw around the rest of the conference this weekend. Who knows what you'll get.

Our coaches still don't think we can come back from two scores down. At least we didn't do any fake punts or really bad trick play attempts.

I learned that if you need to convert a 3rd down against us, just throw it to Sylve's side.

ESPN said we weren't impressive because we got "manhandled" by Arkansas with no context whatsoever.

After watching the film, almost 80% of Arkansas' rushing yards came on draws, traps and delays. They ran very little true power and when they did we did very well against it.

Once we went to half to adjust to the scheme they were showing us, we dominated. 3 rushing yards in the second half for Arky.

I learned:

That if Week 1 is any indication, there is no real "powerhouse" team in the SEC this year.
LSU and Alabama have legitimate concerns at the QB position.
Texas A&M is going to be a pain to scheme against.
Vanderbilt looks like Croom's MSU.
Kentucky and Arkansas both look improved over last year.
Auburn and Texas A&M may be a race to 80.
Mississippi's offense is going to really struggle against the better defenses in the SEC.
Mississippi State is going to lose an upset bid because of special teams.
Georgia became the SEC East favorite in just one week.
I still forget Mizzou is in the SEC.

That was my first thought as well when I found out they lost to Temple.
I'm certain the national media is relieved. They can kiss State's ass and go back to the old "Ole Miss is Waycist" narrative. Meanwhile I hope Gameday has fun in Morgantown. Look out for burning couches!
