I can multi-task like a pro.

Speaking of dying alone, I've been meaning to get into Crusader Kings II, but it's almost unbearably overwhelming. I do want to conquer the learning curve eventually, it looks like a pretty sweet game.

Your best bet is to watch a couple of "let's play" videos. My first couple attempts at the game, I was completely lost, but the videos lift the fog enough to actually play the game. After that, you kind of learn as you go. I've also learned a lot from the crusader kings subreddit.

I warn you though, as you've probably seen with my steam activity, it is an absolute time suck. I think I have 230+ hours into the game. I believe @TheRealBrave also plays the game. Maybe he can weigh in too.

CK2 kicks ass. I only play the Game of Thrones mod for it nowadays which is honestly straight up better than CK2 vanilla in my opinion.

I would recommend starting anywhere in Ireland if you're a CK2 noob. Just goof around, it's hard to royally mess up yet incredibly easy to form the Kingdom of Ireland in reasonable time. Another option is starting as one of the major players in  Spain though the Muslims there will give you a hard time eventually if you don't suck the righteous D of France/HRE to help you
