One of my daughters has a Mercedes E Class Sedan (350), another daughter has an Acura, and our son has a BMW 328 iSedan.
My wife and I have an Avalon.
To me, the Avalon is roomier, sturdier, and a better built car than any of the ones my kids drive (I wouldn't tell them that).  Probably the one closest to the Avalon's quality, in this group, is the Acura.

our 2004 Avalon is still a beat car.
