Seems like he is athletic and similar to Manziel. Sounds like they can keep the run packages ATM installed for Manziel. Kenny Hill has some experience as well.

Don't count me out yet

ATM was ranked #21 I think in the preseason poll.

Also, is the ATM defense expected to make a significant improvement?

What's ATM O line gonna look like? Will he have some good receivers to throw to?

They had more talent on that side of the ball than we did and still gave up more yards than UK. If they don't improve I can't imagine that DC still having a job.

I don't see the defense improving. I stand by my assessment in another thread.

Your defense should so much improved based on what?

Yes I have done my research. You want the short version? Here it goes.

Exhibit A. ATM's defense gave up 500+ yards and 32 points per game against the likes of Sam Houston State, SMU, UTEP and Duke.

Exhibit B: ATM lost ten (10) of their Top-17 tacklers and four (4) out of five (5) of their top tacklers for a loss from last year.

Exhibit C: This spring, ATM lost four (4) projected starters on defense including the 2013 Defensive MVP.

See what I mean. I've done my research on the Aggs and it doesn't bode well for you nor does it say that ATM's defense will be improved.

Their DC got a massive raise this offseason.
Getting paid $700,000.

I expect them to be better, because honestly, how could they be worse?
We could have scored 30 on them.

They will never have a defense under sumlin unless he completely 100% turns it over to a capable DC. But I doubt that happens

There will never be another Johnny Manziel.  Kenny Hill is a good QB and has the arm and accuracy to prove that.  He runs the same speed as Manziel but I don't think he can run the field like a pin ball machine.  I guess time will tell.

I actually think you'll see more of a representation of sumlin's offense without manziel.

Exactly.  There will be more play makers than just the QB this year IMO.

JM was at his best when extending plays like he did against us in 2012.  He was short, way too short really to play QB in the SEC IMO.  He made up for that by moving outside of the pocket and making plays with his feet.  We'll all have to wait and see what Hill brings to the table.
