Hey Hog! I did the same thing with just a few differences. I had one son on baseball scholarship and one on academic scholarship. Thank Goodness!

Still cost me and their mom $16,000 a semester with dorms and the meal plans and so on....My favorite was my son trying for Mech. Engineering degree. Went  with to the book store with about 1,400 in cash to buy his books. Had to hit the credit card for the remainder.

To the new Auburn dad.... Don't let some on here jerk you around to much. My degree is from South Carolina, one son went to college in Georgia and one in Alabama. Depending on what he wants his degree on. All are about the same....Last child has her sights on Auburn.

I think the cost of books is what ticked me off the most. It's a racket they got goin there.

Just dropped off my son at Auburn in the class of 18. I have never been on an SEC campus and have enjoyed getting to know Auburn over the last year. The rivalries are obviously fierce and the talk is tough but there is no doubt that the SEC is among college football elite. Great institutions and great people. Looking forward to four great years. War Eagle.

Hope you had the sex talk with him. His jimmy will be getting very wet.

Don't forget to mail him jimmy hats, those will be handy.
