Arkansas ran for 222 yards last year at home. They only return 3 lineman, one of which they lost was their All-SEC center, we return two starting linebackers, our run stopping star, every DT on the roster and our best run stopping DE.

We have some losses on defense, but not having Lawson (pass rusher) and Therezie (dime corner) shouldn't be too big of an issue against Brandon Allen and Arkansas' receivers, none of which I can name and I'm a pretty informed SEC fan.

Arkansas will hover around 200-230 rushing yards again, but as long as we keep them from repeating 9-16 on third down we should put up 300+ rushing yards.

I'd say 38-17. Pretty close to last year's score. We only break 40 if we get a defensive score. I think it's a respectable prediction since the line is around 21 exactly.

I'm with jacob on this one. I think it'll be a close game but Auburn wins. I think it'll come down to our linebackers. Auburn's misdirection offense will confuse our linebackers and cause them to lose gap control and discipline. Our best linebacker is probably Brook Ellis and he's a true sophomore. The newcomers are more athletic and fast than the veterans, but are too inexperienced.
That's pretty much the nail against our offense. Fast and out of position will give us a lot of yards and a lot of points.

New first team RB (who ran for 610 yds averaging 6.7 YPC), new LT (Who was a 5* and is the strongest player on the team) and a 5* JUCO WR who catches Posted Imageing everything and is a likely high round pick in next year's draft.

It's gonna look like it did late last year, maybe better.

I'm not worried about our offense in the least. My concerns are on the defensive side.

You'll have to forgive the Bammers. Their QBs are sucking so bad Saban won't even release scrimmage stats. Needless to say I bet their squirming a good bit right now.

We're in year two of Malzahn. In year one we lead the country in rushing, our QB lead the country in QBR over the the last 4 games of the season (Against three top 5 teams and UGA), we already have an All-SEC receiver and added a prolific possession receiver that catches passes with one hand routinely and can outrun just about any corner. We return 9 of our 11 starters, although we lost Kozan we still have an absolutely loaded and deep offensive line.

If we stay reasonably healthy we could have a '95 Nebraska level offense.

Love Arky's running game and I think they'll be much improved overall, but Auburn is too fast, too talented and too tough at home.

Based off your comments, it looks like we have a three man race for who's the best player in college football.
