I see Mizzou most likely going 8-4, with 9-3 as a very decent possibility and 10-2 as a ceiling. A lot will depend on how they replace their defensive stars, DBG, and Mr. Run-Into-Golf-Carts Josey... I think Mauk at QB will be fine.

2014 Missouri Tigers:

8/30: South Dakota State-W
9/6: at Toledo-L
9/13: UCF-L
9/20: Indiana-W
9/27: at South Carolina-L
10/4: OPEN
10/11: Georgia-L
10/18: at Florida-L
10/25: Vanderbilt-W
11/1: Kentucky-W
11/8: OPEN1
1/15: at Texas A&M-L
11/22: at Tennessee-L
11/29: Arkansas-L

4-8 (2-6)

Flame away mm. I was already on record, in the other threads, with the 2-6 SEC record. Surprised you had not picked up on that.

At least I did not pick MO to lose to IU, as I did last year. Sorry, but that's just the way I see it.

Wow. The Haters here amaze me. Still no respect.

4-8? Are you kidding me?

With this favorable schedule and a still very good team (DGB hurts, but there are studs on D ready to replace Sam and Ealy), there is absolutely no way they are worse than 7-5.

UCF should be tough, and Toledo has trap game written all over it, but they should be 4-0 come conference play.

From there there are 3 automatic Ws in Kentucky, Vandy, and Arky.

Anything less than 7 wins is a miserable failure for Mizzou and will set them back big time in recruiting.

Then games they SHOULD win or at least be favored in against Tenn, A&M, possibly at Fla.

Count in the fact that at SC and home against Georgia are by no means impossible to win games....9-3 probably. Maybe even 10-2, 11-1 if things fall into place and the important pieces stay healthy.

4-8.....

let's just say yall did.
I dint think you'll get any love from the committee,  cuz the school from the west will win the sec champ game,
and your first four games are cupcakes.

Honestly it's by no mean the hardest non-con in the country, but it's not a walkthrough either.

UCF is no joke. Even with losing Bortles you don't go from a BCS Bowl win to a "cupcake" because of 1 guy. And AT an always underrated Toledo is the definition of a trap game.

More like the 20s to the 70s. If we can show we can win more than 1 every 5 or 6 years, we will be in the 20s or so more often than not.

And we are currently in the 30s, not the 40s :P :D

The same guy predicted us to go 4-8 last year and he never accepted the fact that he was wrong.
