@bobbyb0322 @Maroonblood @JDThirstyAg

I do not care if A&M was or is part of the UT System. I do not care about the 12th Man argument. I do not care who manages whom's endowment.

I DO care that DeLoss left us in this $#@!hole of a conference. I DO care that Aggy is going to be blared across the nation on Aug 28, representing our state. REPRESENTING OUR GODDAMNED STATE!!!!

While I'm trying to find our game on LHN, Aggy will be broadcast coast to coast. THIS IS ALL DELOSS' FAULT! That MORON let all the good parts of the conference leave and left us with - Kansas State? Iowa State? BAYLOR??!??!? And we are stuck with them (oh yeah TCU who I never missed) until - 2025?

We've been screwed! A little gimpy bowtied [derogatory] bent us over and went in dry and DeLoss sat there and cheered him on like a certain QB is a San Antonio hotel room.

YES I AM PISSED. And even with the season upon us, we are staring into the maw of a very average year in a crappy conference with another crappy bowl. And recruiting shows we're getting our ass handed to us. THAT MEANS THERE'S NO END IN SIGHT.

I'm sorry if I sound bitter or down, but all this window dressing about endowments and 12th man and other crap detracts from the fact THE *******ED HOUSE IS FULLY ENGULFED IN FLAMES RIGHT BEHIND YOU.

Yeah, but here's the bottom-line, and when looking at this objectively, there is no argument with the following:

Old Big 12 > New Big 12

Put another way, we did not replace NU, Mizzou, CU and A&M with equal value.

There should have been done more to keep the old Big 12 together, and no, the LHN was not worth it IMO.

It's nothing against either of them

The current setup is nonsense

Mizzou in the SEC?

Rutgers and Maryland in the B10?

WVU in the B12?

It's just stupid

I loved the old big 12, easily the second best conference around, but I always had a slight chip on my shoulder about how special the SEC was... We were definitely a winner in the conference expansion fiasco... but there were lots of losers as well.

I'm pissed they call Texas UT. Posted Image them. University of Tennessee was around while the french still claimed texass. Tennessee = UT Tejas = Tej community college, or TU.

Maybe so, but us being in the state of Texas accounts for a lot of TV dollars for the rest of the conference.

I personally think you will see BAS go away for the most part. If I were you I'd be more worried about fixing the disaster Dodds created for you guys.

We could play aggy at any point if we wanted to schedule them especially now that the SEC wants each team to schedule a P5 school each year. aggy is where they belong.

This attitude from over on Shaggybevo is funny to me. Our AD and administration has made it quite clear we are not interested in playing you girls anymore. You aren't needed.

I agree. The SEC was doing fine and didn't need us or Mizzou. But we added a lot of value in TV dollars and in better recruiting access to each state.
